This Wall of Shame includes those that have damaged and/or grossly disappointed the American people and the Constitution through either self serving practices, gross incompetence or sell out of the nation’s trust. There is always room for more on this list.

ABC - Owned by Disney. Media censorship and barring full presidential candidate debate participation even prior to the first primary vote was cast.

George Bush - Policy of Preemptive Strike, Gross Dishonesty, Gross Incompetence

Des Moines Register - Slanted News. Unilaterally deciding the democratic candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election, while excluding several that are candidates

Dick Cheney - Policy of Preemptive Strike, Gross Dishonesty, Private contracts that favor his portfolio, Public Arrogance

Disney/ABC - Parent company to ABC News, for banning certain candidates from participating in televised Presidential Debates.

Congressmembers who still sit in the House Judiciary Committee that voted for the impeachment of Clinton for oral sex, however currently NOT taking action on impeachment of either George Bush or Dick Cheney for dishonesty that lead to an illegal war:

GE - owner of NBC which excluded candidates from the Nevada debate.

Hillary Clinton - Due to her association with the Gannett Company, the parent company of the Des Moines Register, which was behind the exclusion of Kucinich from the Iowa Democratic Debate, and little courage to speak out against the current administration, suggesting more of the same if she were elected.

Katie Couric - Slanted News. Unilaterally deciding the democratic candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election, while excluding several that are candidates

Gannett Company - Parent company to the Des Moines Register, USA Today, and others. For excluding candidates from the Iowa Debate based on minutia so to serve personal interests. Donna Shalala, former Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services from 1993 to 2001, under the Clinton Administration, is on their Board of Directors.

One high ranking Democrat in opposition to H Res 799 (333) and Mr. Kucinich, is outspoken Alcee Hastings,(D Rep Florida). I searched for his history as a public official after noticing his strong reaction to Mr. Kucinich and H Res 799 (333), where he stated that Mr. Kucinich “is on a quest of his own, he sees flying saucers and he acts like one”. Mr. Hastings makes these remarks near the end of the youtube video at the clickable link above.

Mr. Hastings viewpoint of Mr. Kucinich may be better understood if you understand that Mr. Hastings was one of only 6 Federal judges to be impeached in history. Hastings was a lawyer and judge of the circuit court of Broward County, Florida, and United States District Court judge for the Southern District of Florida (1979 to 1989), until he was impeached and removed from office for corruption and perjury.

In 1981 Judge Hastings was charged with accepting a $150,000 bribe in exchange for a lenient sentence and a return of seized assets for 21 counts of racketeering by Frank and Thomas Romano, and of perjury in his testimony about the case. He was acquitted by a jury after his alleged co-conspirator, William Borders, refused to testify in court (resulting in a jail sentence for Borders).

In 1988, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Rep’s took up the case. Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413-3. Voters to impeach included Democratic Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, John Conyers and Charles Rangel. He was then convicted in 1989 by the United States Senate, becoming the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed from office by the Senate. See Wikipedia for the full story of this event. Certainly, he has no right to make comment about Kucinich, as he can not be viewed as a reliable judge of character. Who elected Hastings into office?

Mr. Kucinich’s strength of character may truly be foreign to Mr. Hastings as clearly they operate on two entirely different planes of integrity. Information for this post was obtained from Wikipedia Mr Hastings history of corruption is clearly known within Congress and has been the cause for his name to be passed over in consideration of positions of higher responsibility. Congressman Hastings is also a member of the powerful House Rules Committee and is a senior Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). On the HPSCI, Hastings is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

My question is this: How is it possible he sits in the House of Representatives at all with his background?

Nancy Pelosi - For failure to uphold the Constitution with respect to impeachment. One would wonder why she appears to be covering for Dick Cheney and George Bush and their abuse of power. Cindy Sheehan is running for Pelosi’s seat in Congress, please visit her campaign site.

The New Media Journal -  Great example of why it’s important to always check sources of information.  This website reports inaccurate information and twists it to promote their agenda.  This link is to their current article about Kucinich that is nearly one year old, reported as current, and in their submission to digg.com they also report that Kucinich is running for president based on this.  All false.  In correspondence to their editor, it was clear that they are not at all aware that many states are pushing for the impeachment of Cheney and Bush through their own legislation, New Hampshire’s .  Their site may be part of a corporate backed smear campaign.  They also promote themselves as “Researched Opinion”.  Hmmm

Iowa Democratic Party - Not Democratic Despite Their Name. Did not speak up to insist that all Democratic candidates participated equally in the Iowa Debate.

NBC - Owned by GE. Censoring candidates from Presidential debate and slanted censoring news. Appealed Nevada judge’s decision demanding Kucinich participate in the Nevada presidential debate, based on their First Amendment Rights. What?

New York Times - Slanted News. Refuses to publish any current news pertaining to the call to impeach Dick Cheney by Rep. Robert Wexler (FL) and others to date. Search their online site and you find nothing. The NY Times is useless.

Washington Post - Slanted News. Refuses to publish any current news pertaining to the call to impeach Dick Cheney by Rep. Robert Wexler (FL) and others to date. On 12-16-07 published article referring to Kucinich with respect to Impeachment, not mentioning the other congresspersons, Wexler and others that are currently collecting signatures. Irresponsible journalism
