Sarah Palin gets attention from CNN’s Jack Cafferty

Jack Cafferty unloaded on Sarah Palin’s “disastrous” interview with Katie Couric Friday afternoon on CNN, telling Wolf Blitzer, “There’s a reason the McCain campaign keeps Governor Palin away from the press.”

After showing a clip of Palin stumbling over Couric’s question about the bailout and offering an answer connecting the bailout to healthcare, Cafferty asked, “Did you get that?”

He warned the viewers: “If John McCain wins this woman will be one 72-year-old’s heartbeat away from being President of the United States. And if that doesn’t scare the hell out of you, it should.”

  1. I look down my street and see the signs, one after another for McCain/Palin. (I counted 19 McCain to one Obama). I wonder after having Dubya for 8 years with a handler, (Cheney) how can these stupid people even think about voting for an old geyser who chose another idiot who needs a handler? I thought it was those who ignored history are doomed to repeat it? Well, if my florida neighborhood is any indication, get ready to be driven crazy and to lose everything. The USA is doomed…

  2. Hopefully you just live in a “pocket area”. My home town has been strongly Republican for many years. Surprisingly I’ve seen one sign for them is a city of MANY people. I don’t think it looks good for McCain on the popular vote. Hopefully Obama will get enough votes that a rigged election will be impossible.
