Sarah Palin’s Left Hand

Unbelievable. Frightening actually. Sarah Palin spoke last night to the Tea Party Convention using notes scribbled on her left hand. If she can’t make it through a speech without notes on the palm of her hand…notes that she needed to respond to a question of what are the top three steps necessary for America, what of importance could she have to say to anyone in this country? I think we can get many handfuls of American citizens to respond to that question without crib notes. Just what were the Republicans trying to pan off on America when choosing her for a Vice Presidential candidate?

There was another time when Sarah Palin had hand issues, that was during the Sarah Palin – Joe Biden Debate

Was this after she hurt her hand?

Colin Powell: Obama “He would electrify our country and the world”

Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of State, and National Security Advisor Colin Powell has chosen to back Barack Obama. In an interview today, on Meet the Press, Powell stated that Obama would electrify our county and the world.

Powell stated that McCain’s “unsure” response to the ongoing economic crisis and his selection of a running mate who is “not ready to be president of the United States,” along with an increasingly “narrow” Republican approach to deepening national problems, had led him to support Obama. Other well thought and specific remarks included “His ability to inspire, the inclusive nature of his campaign, his reaching out all across America, who he is and his rhetorical abilities….he has both style and substance,” Powell said of Obama. He said that Obama’s own intellectual ability, and the experts surrounding him, had convinced him of Obama’s readiness to lead the country. During the recent economic crisis in particular, Powell said, Obama had shown “steadiness, intellectual curiosity, a depth of knowledge and approach….not just jumping in and changing every day but showing intellectual vigor. He has a definitive way of doing business that would serve us well”. He felt Obama’s pick of Senator Joe Biden ensured that we had an individual that was ready to serve on day one.

As for McCain, he said, “I found he was a little unsure as to how to deal with economic problems we’re having, almost every day a different approach. That concerned me, a sense that he didn’t have a complete grasp” of the situation.

Powell said he was also concerned about McCain’s vice presidential choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, whom he called “a distinguished woman,” who was not ready to be president. “That raised some questions in my mind as to his judgment.” read more from the Washington Post

Video – Biden: Palin Must Condemn Hateful Obama Attacks

Joe Biden lashed out at Sarah Palin on Wednesday, calling her recent rhetoric “ugly” and “mildly dangerous,” and expressing shock that she didn’t interrupt recent rallies when supporters shouted hateful attacks about Barack Obama, including “treason!” and “kill him!”

Clearly a very sick woman.

Pro-McCain Group Offering Cash for Protesters @ VP Debate

The NRCC front group “Vets for Freedom” has resorted to recruiting paid “demonstrators” from local college fraternities to maintain the illusion of popular support for Sarah Palin at the upcoming VP debate. The tactic echoes the 2000 “Brooks Brothers Riot,” when GOP congressional staff were flown from DC to fake a protest against the FLA recount .

How pitiful……

Sarah Palin gets attention from CNN’s Jack Cafferty

Jack Cafferty unloaded on Sarah Palin’s “disastrous” interview with Katie Couric Friday afternoon on CNN, telling Wolf Blitzer, “There’s a reason the McCain campaign keeps Governor Palin away from the press.”

After showing a clip of Palin stumbling over Couric’s question about the bailout and offering an answer connecting the bailout to healthcare, Cafferty asked, “Did you get that?”

He warned the viewers: “If John McCain wins this woman will be one 72-year-old’s heartbeat away from being President of the United States. And if that doesn’t scare the hell out of you, it should.”
